This piece goes out to all you graphic design dorks out there--a tribute to Midcentury print and furniture design. This era of commercial art in the mid 1900's was highly influential and marked by certain unmistakable stylistic elements like clean flowing lines and overlapping silhouettes, halftone printing dots, molded wood paneling, among others. This is one of the few tattoos that i can say is truly RIGHT for this client, because Allie is a graphic designer for Apple computers in CA. Many thanks to her for the patience, dedication, and willingness to let me experiment.
