My good friend came to me with a challenge. After doing a sleeve of japanese lanterns, and moths with a Hannya background...A neck coverup, a low back cover up/rework, the left shoulder blade done, two calves to cover, a chest rework… its taken many hours and lots of surrender to what is, and what we can do with it all. Overall, I’m happy with the look. I went behind existing work where it was necessary, like the waist wrap around. I dropped the dragon’s body and horn behind it onto the left butt cheek. I also repeated the cherry blossoms from her chest piece on the back and in the dragon’s mouth so the petals and blossoms could be falling down her backside for consistency.
