A brain in a lightbulb, an ode to brilliant ideas and the human capacity for ingenuity, reworked in 2016 after some extensive color loss. I originally did this tattoo and the sleeve that it's a part of about 10 years ago, and it was always one of my favorites. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me at the time, I was using an orange pigment that completely disappears after exposure to even minimal sunlight, so it needed to be redone with new lightfast tattoo pigments and restored to its former glory. You can see the before and after of this session, as well as a view of the top portion of the sleeve that we also touched up, by clicking on the detail image link. Thank you to my wonderfully dedicated clients for putting in the travel, money, and effort to keep their tattoos looking top notch!
