Cam's vision for his sleeve was a "comeback machine" powered by a golden battery cell, symbolizing the inner strength and lifeforce which has brought him back from despair and destruction so many times. I interpreted this machine as a thick mass of old mechanical parts formed from the flowing, organic shapes of human anatomy--the body and time symbolized as one. Chipped, corroded, weathered and seemingly collapsing in on itself, it endures with its eternal energy source.
